Handball shall not be limited to age, gender or physical condition! Handball is a sport for all - without any borders!
Therefore the EHF established the project "Wheelchair Handball" which found its highlight in the organisation of a demonstration game on the occasion of the EHF Youth Forum / Meeting of Presidents in November 06.
Handball is constantly growing thanks to all people who love this sport and who want to share their knowledge, time and patience! There is definitely so much more for us to reach and to fight for. Nevertheless we should be aware of our responsibility for sportsmen and -women who are not able to play Handball in the way we know.
It is not our aim to publish strict rules and regulations. "Wheelchair Handball" shall first be implemented because of its high ethical and integrative value.
"Wheelchair Handball"-competitions are the 2nd step.
