European Beach Tour: Masters 2005

The EBT Masters 2005 is the final cumulative step of all beach handball tournaments in 2005. In the last year the number of tournaments, clubs and players has been higher than in the previous year. A total of 44 tournament organisers and 105 teams took part in the EBT 2005. The time has now come to know the overall winner of the last beach handball season.

The Influence of Conflict on a Handball Team

In Slovenia there is a stereotype about the correlation between conflicts and non-performance. This is at least true for the Slovenian sports mind-set, particularly in handball. It is typical of all collective sports that whenever a team achieves success (or fails) both coaches and players constantly reiterate that the team members get on very well and that there are no conflicts whatsoever between them.

Fair Play in Handball - a Philosophy to Share

When discussing "Fair Play", we usually speak about moral attitudes and values, about ideals in theory and practice, about purpose and means. The moment you agree to participate in sport, you must also accept and follow a set of rules. To compete fairly means respecting these rules and this requires discipline. Education, culture and tradition form the basis of different attitudes towards the concept of "Fair Play" - that is, different mentalities, arguments and feelings.
