Playing Performance in Team Handball
(Frantisek Taborsky)
This study introduces the definition of playing performance (PP) and a formalized quantitative model of the evaluation of PP in team handball. Subsequently, the analysis of bioenergetics, biomechanical and psychical predispositions of PP is present. Likewise the most important outer conditions for PP of top-class team handball players are described. Following long-term pedagogical observation suggest relevant PP features within top class players and teams and defines the target norms for Czech national representation teams.

Basic Principles in Attack
(Klaus Feldmann)
In contrast to the "big brother" football, handball has a large range of tactical variations, which brings different defensive plays (man-to-man defence, space defence, offensively, defensively...) and offensive systems (play directions and conceptions, team and group tactics) into feature. "Hall chess with tempo 200" is therefore a suitable name for what takes place on the playing court in 60 minutes.
