Working on handball entails a much broader spectrum of work than "merely" concentrating on competitions, tournaments and active handball players of the senior categories.

To guarantee the continuous success of the sport, also in the future, is it very important to make handball accessible to children and pupils by providing them - and their coaches and teachers - with the means and facilities to play handball.

17.-19.11.2006, Vienna (Austria)

The European Handball Federation is dedicating its 15th Anniversary celebtrations to the handball players of the future. The future of the sport lies in the hands of our youngsters, they are our future, which is why the EHF is holding a Youth Handball Convention from 17 - 19 November 2006, in order to define the strategies for the future of handball in Europe.
