Working on handball entails a much broader spectrum of work than "merely" concentrating on competitions, tournaments and active handball players of the senior categories.

To guarantee the continuous success of the sport, also in the future, is it very important to make handball accessible to children and pupils by providing them - and their coaches and teachers - with the means and facilities to play handball.

The EHF joined forces with the Hellenic Handball Federation to organise a symposium aimed at teachers and advisors working with school children. The symposium - "Handball at School" took place from 25-27 April during the final weekend of the International School Sport Federation Games in Thessaloniki/GRE.
